After being fired from his job by the American people in November, Trump’s rampage resulted in a riot at the Capitol last week, where five people - including two in law enforcement and one ex-military gone wild - lost their lives. Yesterday Trump put out a video where he said he didn’t condone violence, but that doesn’t fit into the reality of all of the things he’s been saying these past five years. So like shock jock Alex Jones similar phony act of contrition, Trump’s statement had a hollow ring to it, as did wife Melania’s public statement, where she doesn’t acknowledge the Donald’s role in inciting the riot. And neither of them acknowledged President-elect Biden’s win.

So, it’s time for the White House staff to take out the white trash. Only five more days of the disastrous presidential hoax, that Trump would ‘Make America Great Again’. He may have been a terrible president, but he’s sure seems like a super con man.

Trump Loses Social Media Platforms to Spew his Venom

Due to the Capitol Riot violence, Donald Trump’s Twitter and Facebook and YouTube accounts were closed. The Twitter account is closed permanently, after Trump had tweeted 57,000 times. They posted a public explanation for the decision which you can read by copying and pasting this link.

Trump Loses Business & Lending Sources Because of his Bad Behavior

Trump also reportedly golfed over 400 times, spending about 300 days of his Administration on the golf course. Half of those days were at Trump owned properties. Unfortunately for him, the PGA ended its deal to use Trump’s Jersey golf course for their tournament. The City of New York is also in the process of cancelling its contracts with him for management of the ice rink and carousel concessions in Central Park, and also working to end relations related to his golf course in the Bronx.

Deustche Bank said it would not be doing any more business with the Donald going forward. They have $300 million in outstanding loans and were one of the few banks willing to do business with Trump following his four / six bankruptcies. Far smaller players, Signature Bank and a local Florida bank called Professional Bank, also said they would not be going any future business with Trump.

And a number of very large American corporations are reviewing their political donations programs in light of the Capitol Riots.

It’s impossible at this point to know how much of these moves are publicity ploys versus real or meaningful change.

Personalization of Power Comparisons - Republicans’ Fealty to Trump & Nazis’ Loyalty to Hitler / Trump & Nixon

In spite of the insurrection, most Republicans still appear to remain mostly loyal to the Donald. It remains uncertain as to whether this is because of a genetic spine removing mutation that has taken place in the Republican party, or that they have abandoned their oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and keep their promise to the American people. No amount of phony patriotic platitudes, flag waving and Bible toting theatrics will be able to hide who these people really are going forward.

Trump recoiled at being compared to Nixon, while Fox News recoils at the comparisons of Trump to Hitler. The latter is possibly because the analogy to Hitler casts their boss, Rupert Murdoch, in the light of Goebbels. Hitler was said to have had a hypnotic effect on the German people - and as far as I can tell, the only way people could continue believing that Trump making America great - is if they were mesmerized.

Spineless Senators Symptomatic of a Diseased Republican Party & a Faltering Democracy

Trump was impeached for a second time. This time ten Republicans, showed some backbone, and joined their Democratic colleagues to impeach the Donald.

But speaking of spines, I enjoyed seeing Lindsey Graham board Air Force One with Trump on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. This was less than a week after Graham - on the floor of the Senate, on national TV, after the senate had returned following the riot - said that president Trump,

“... needs to understand that his actions were the problem, not the solution ... All I can say is count me out. Enough is enough ... ”

Also on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 a New York Times story reported that Senator Mitch McConnell said that,

“... he believes President Trump committed impeachable offenses ...”

The story went on to say that McConnell was pleased that the Democrats were going to impeach Trump, as that would make it easier for the Republican party to rid themselves of Trump and move on. A day later on January 13, 2021, the Wall Street Journal reported the following,

“ ... Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) sent a note to Republican senators on Wednesday, saying he has not made a final decision on how he would vote if President Trump's impeachment case reached the Senate ...”

Who are senators Graham and McConnell looking out for? Their constituents and what's best for the nation - OR - their own political careers?
