This report details a number of upcoming Memorial Day Weekend parades in all five boroughs of NYC, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island.

NYC Weather Forecast as of 5.21.26. There's a 75% chance of up to 1.25 inches of rain on Saturday, starting sometime between 1 and 5 pm and extending into Sunday, with another .25 to .5 inch of rain, ending sometime between 1 and 4 pm. There's a 20% to 40% chance of a negligible amount of rain Monday. The temperature highs will hover between 60 to 65 all weekend, except Monday where it will rise to 70 degrees. The temperature lows will hover in the mid 50's to high 50's all weekend. The winds will range from 1 - 10 mph on Friday, 5 - [mostly] 10 mph Saturday & Sunday, and then back down to 1 - 5 mph Monday. The humidity will swing wildly all weekend, from 80% to 40% Friday, 60% to 95% Saturday, 95% to 80% Sunday and finally levelling off on Monday in the 60% range. It will be cloudy all days of the three day holiday weekend.

* Inwood _ Monday, May 26, 2025 meeting at 10.30 am, kicking off at 11 am - Memorial Day Parade - starts at Broadway and Dyckman, and marches through the park to the Inwood Hill Park flag in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan. On Friday night it's free movie night from 6 - 10 pm. On Saturday it's the Battle of the Big Bands from 7 - 11 pm. On Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm on Pier 86, there's the following, " ... a variety of displays and activities on Pier 86 from participants including the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force, antique military vehicles from the Military Transport Association ...".And on Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning at 10 am there's a Memorial Day Ceremony. * Sunday, May 24, 2026 beginning at 12 noon [estimated end time is 4 pm] - 5 Borough Veterans - NYC Memorial Ruck March - begins at [195] Cadman Plaza Brooklyn War Memorial. Marchers are encouraged to fill their rucksacks with non-perishables to carry over the Brooklyn Bridge and onto Battery Park, stopping at war memorials along the way. * Carnarsie _ Monday, May 25, 2026 from 10 am - 12 noon - Brooklyn Canarsie Lions Club Memorial Day Parade - Assembly begins at 9.30 am in the parking lot of the Holy Family Church at 9719 Flatlands Avenue. The parades heads southeast along East 98th Street to Avenue L. It then turns right heading southwest along Avenue L before turning right heading northwest along Remson Avenue, where the parade marches a couple of blocks before stopping at the Carnarsie Cemetery to honor the fallen. After the cemetery commemoration ceremony, the parade continues north on Remson turning right onto Conklin Avenue, ending at the American Legion at 1130 East 92nd Street. * Bay Ridge _ Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning at 11 am - The 159th Brooklyn / Kings County / Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade - steps off on 3rd Avenue and 78th Street in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. The parade proceeds down to Marine Avenue, then heads up to 4th Avenue, then over to John Paul Jones Park for their memorial service which includes bag pipes, flag raising and wreath laying by Veteran Service Organizations. This is followed by a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps by the Veteran Corps of Artillery. Organized by the United Military Veterans of Kings County. * Bedford Stuyvesant _ Monday, May 25, 2026 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm / 4 pm - 15th Bedford Stuyvesant Veterans' Memorial Day Parade - Assembles at 11.30 am, steps off 12 noon from Restoration Plaza at 1368 Fulton Street in Bedford Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. * Kew Gardens _ Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1 - 2 pm & 4 - 5 pm - Memorial Day Service / Classical Concert - at 127-15 Kew Gardens Road inside of Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens. Specifically it's at the Victorian Building at 83-15 Kew Gardens Road at Lefferts Blvd. The playing of taps and the reading of those killed in the various wars in which the U.S. has been involved starting with WWI, who are buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

* Forest Hills _ Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 11 am / 12 noon to 2 pm - The American Legion Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade. The opening ceremony begins at 11 am and the parade kicks off at 12 noon, marching from Ascan Avenue and 107-15 Metropolitan Avenue [home of the Legion Post] to St. Johns Cemetery at Cooper and Metropolitan Avenues in Forest Hills. * Little Neck / Douglaston _ Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning 10 am / 2 pm - The Douglaston - Little Neck Memorial Day Parade begins at 2 pm at Jayson Avenue marching southwest along Northern Blvd and ending at 245th Street in Douglaston, near the Zion Episcopal Church. This is said to be the biggest Memorial Day Parade in the city. There are related activities leading up to the parade that begin at 10 am and include a Zion Episcopal church service at 243-01 Northern Blvd, a wreath laying ceremony in Monument Park at Alameda Avenue and Northern Blvd, and a brunch in Father Smith Hall. The parade marches north stopping at Hawkins Park where there is a Memorial Stone for WWII Veterans, then marches on to the Pelham Cemetery, which is on the eastern end of the island between Tier and Ditmars Streets. After visiting the cemetery, they march to the southern foot of the bridge where there is a Veterans Memorial Triangle, before turning back around and ending at American Legion - Leonard Hawkins Post 156 at 550 City Island Avenue. The parade begins and marches down Forest Avenue ending at Jewett in West Brighton / Westerleigh / Elm Park. The reviewing stand will be in front of Blessed Sacrament Church.
