Billionaire TV News Reports the Headlines but Misses the Meaning

Billionaire TV News is waiting at the Capitol to cover the House vote to open the Epstein files.

Like it actually matters.

If you have absolutely nothing else going on in your life, then stay glued to the TV News screen to find out how the House and Senate will vote on the issue.

But it doesn't matter and it won't make a difference, as Donald Trump is doing what he does best. Making fools on the American people and the rule of law, by deceiving them and finding loopholes in the law to exploit. Both skills that Donald J. Trump has been practicing all of his life.

Current TV News Teams Cover Events Like Chimpanzees - They go thru the Motions but don't Seem to Really Understand What it is they are doing

TV News waiting on this vote, like it matters. And telling you the same. This reminds of how just over a year ago, TV News responded to Trump's false claim that Haitian immigrants were eating their neighbors pets. Kamala Harris laughed, David Muir put on his "I'm a serious anchorman face" and news outlets headed to Springfield, Ohio on a wild goose chase.

Trump got what he wanted. Which was distracting from what would have been the news- that Kamala Harris was better prepared and more knowledgeable about policy during that debate - essentially winning it. But for which she reaped zero benefits because TV News spent the next few news cycles 'investigating' and talking about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump Orders DOJ to Open Investigation into Democrat Larry Summers in Relation to the Epstein Files - Thune & Johnson Continue Their Heroic Failing of Their Duty to the American People

Yesterday, Trump ordered an investigation into Larry Summers in relation to the Epstein files. He simultaneously went from trying to keep the Epstein Files genie in the bottle, to fully supporting Republicans to vote in favor of it - which they were going to do anyhow.

Why? Because by having the DOJ and FBI opening an investigation and court proceedings against Democrat Larry Summers, Trump has effectively precluded the public from seeing the Epstein Files until after the investigation is over.

Meanwhile Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune and House Speaker Mike Johnson, stand idly by, failing miserably in their sworn duty to the Constitution. But this past year they have failed us so many times (I won't digress into that conversation at this time), including leaving it for the courts to uphold their constitutional powers to levy taxes on the people via tariffs.

The Opening of the DOJ Investigation Will Likely Preclude the Files from Being Released Until the Litigation has Ended ... After Trump Presidency

By protocol, not law, the Epstein files are not likely to see the light of day in the public realm as long as Trump is president and his DOJ swears oath to him - not the Constitution - in violation of the law. Court documents are public record but access can be restricted, particularly if they pertain to pending litigation. The court can seal or redact documents to protect sensitive information. This is likely what the Trump DOJ will do.

The DOJ Filed Litigation Against Summers & This Will Likely Prevent Real Disclosure Thru the Trump Presidency

Even if the Summers investigation comes to a close before Trump's presidency ends, Trump will likely order the DOJ to open another investigation into another Democrat found in the Epstein files, which would keep the files in limbo as long as Trump is president, and Republicans Thune and Johnson shirk their duty to the nation.

After Blocking the Epstein Files Release for Months, Trump Does an 180 Pivot

Was it Because he Found Other [Illegal?] Ways to Keep Himself out of Public View?

Trump reportedly ordered teams from the Bondi DOJ and Patel FBI to comb through the Epstein Files within a couple of months of being inaugurated president in January 2025. By May 2025 they had reportedly informed him that his name was all over them.

Thus, in June 2025 Bondi and Patel told the American public there was nothing in them of interest. Dan Bongino, who long pushed the Epstein File conspiracy, almost resigned because of this announcement. Conservative celebrity, Charlie Kirk, called for their release too, only a couple of months before his assassination.

With Implied Presidential Consent, Speaker Johnson Delayed the Epstein File Release in August, & Again in September, October and Most of November

In July 2025, Kentucky Republican Congressman Thomas Massie, along with Ro Khanna initiated a discharge petition seeking the release of the Epstein Files by the DOJ. Speaker Mike Johnson delayed any action on the Epstein File Discharge petition by recessing the House early, in August. And then again from September thru mid November, by closing down Congress for an entire month and a half, in order to avoid the swearing in of Arizona Democratic congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, which provided Massie and Khanna with the votes they needed to pass the discharge petition.

How Long Before TV News Figures out that the Senate and House Votes to Release the Epstein Files have been Rendered Meaningless by the DOJ Investigation? Or do they Only Care About the Ratings Associated with What Seems a Phony Drama?

Pay attention to this on network TV News to figure out which of them are informing you, and which are manipulating you to watch more TV News for meaningless outcomes, and their ratings. We're unlikely to ever see the real Epstein Files, just like we'll never see the real JFK assassination files. Powerful people, like Trump, invariably wield power to pursue their own ends. So don't hold your breath or you'll die.

Trump Epstein Michael Wolff & the Real Interesting Allegations Ignored by TV News

And in that report I've included a url to a video interview with him which I found fascinating and inclusive of facts that billionaire TV News has conveniently omitted from their narratives, like that Trump was allegedly an FBI informant on more than one occasion - including rumored to have been the informant who turned in Epstein to the FBI in a pre-emptive move on him. Epstein was said to be considering turning in Trump for laundering Russian oligarch cash through his real estate transactions.

I admit I could be wrong. But Trump has a life long track record of dishonesty and deceit. I believe he will continue in that vein until the day he dies, because as the old saying goes, a skunk doesn't change stripes.

Addendum. What Puzzles Me?

What puzzles me, is how so many Americans seem unable to recognize a genuine con man when they see him. Worse, they don't get it, even after they are given ample opportunity to do so.

Let's Briefly Review, Just his Presidency. Russia hoax [Senate majority said credible], Epstein Files hoax [seems very credible], Trump is a fraud hoax [proven in court], drain the swap and see the free jumbo jet donation to Trump Library from Qatar, crooked Hillary but no crooked Don whose company was fined for laundering Russian money via Trump Casino, lying Ted Cru but no lying Don to whom the Washington Post attributed 30,573 false or misleading statements in his first term [and yet TV News broadcasts him making more of the same incorrect statements all of the time without corrrecting them which is one reason they have become so disinformational to the American public], the Donald is a compulsive liar who lies again and again and again, says stop the steal and yet asks the Georgia Secretary of State to essentially create 11,000 votes so he can win that state in 2020, as well as numerous other vote shenanigans including false elector slate(s) and helping instigate the Insurrection on January 6th, rigging the system with gerry manders in Texas [Courts as of this post have declared invalid] and Missouri, but thankfully rebuffed in Indiana, which is a Republican state, and home to former VP 'Hang' Mike Pence, drain the swamp and yet via his son Eric cashes in on the billionaire crypto swamp, drain the swamp and you'll find ballroom donations by billionaire oligarchs with hundreds of millions in government contracts, drain the swamp and you'll find Trump organization real estate deals with Saudi Arabia done in tandem with U.S. military technology transfers which experts think compromise this nation's advantage vis-a-vis the Chinese, claims witch hunts yet hard to know which witch hunt is he talking about like his DOJ going after his former NSA John Bolton, his former FBI James Comey and NYS AG Letitia James or some other, in 2015 / 2016 tells us he'll release his taxes to the public as soon as he's done being audited [the audits ended long ago and we still haven't seen them], and of course all the fake news about him. Or is the news real, but he is 'the enemy within', who just happens to be a fake president?

Sadly the nation voted in his favor in 2024. I believe largely because too many voters rely on what has become disinformational TV News, which disinforms and manipulates the public, rather than informs them. And the quarter billion in campaign spending by billionaire Elon Musk in the swing states.

Thankfully we get to decide again in 2026, and again in 2028. For my part I wonder how long it will take voters to realize that paying attention - aka being woke - just like being educated - isn't a bad thing, but in fact a good thing. Thomas Jefferson said, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be." Please don't ignore that TV News can be very disinformational. The Scent of More Adams 'Related' Corruptions Continue to hit the Radar - And Network TV News Turns a Blind Eye

Separately, after three and a half years of 'getting stuff done' for billionaires and real estate developers, Adams has finally focused his attention on the working class voters of New York, handing out government money, in a manner that leads me to believe he thinks the public money is his own.

"Show Me The Money" Eric Adams famously used to say. We should have listened. Adams can't seem to shake all of the corruption allegations that surround him, the members of his administration and the Administration itself. Allegations of bribes, numerous staff indictments, including of Eric Adams who is the first sitting NYC Mayor to be indicted in office.

Public Advocate Jumaane Williams sent a letter to the Mayor this week, questioning his management of the oversight of the NYPD. Adams has employed Trump-style tactics in dismantling the checks and balances in the system that have kept American government relatively corruption-free in modern times. Editor's Note. NYC government is far from clean, as you can see by how all of the publicly owned / controlled real estate is transferred, 'legally', to billionaires [and or their real estate companies] who are friends of or have funded two of the last three mayors' campaigns. Stagflation May be Headed our Way

It Looks Like We May be Heading for a Stagflation Economy. According to 8.15.25 Yahoo Finance report, wholesale prices rose faster than expectations, up 0.9% in July, far faster than expectations. The core rate grew 3.7% vs an expected 3%. The Fed target rate is 2%. Services, not goods, were the driving force behind the inflation increase, and services are not tied to tariffs. We might be heading into a stagflation economy, where inflation continues or picks up, while jobs growth slows, as happened this month.

The contributors to a staglationary economy include that the U.S. dollar has lost 10% of its value since the beginning of the year. This means everything purchased outside of the U.S. will essentially cost 10% more to Americans. And tariffs will eventually add further to the inflation problem by increasing the cost of goods further.

TV News doesn't seem to understand that there's a lag time between when changes in the economy occur [like tariffs or currency valuation changes], and when the impact of them shows up at the cash register. Macroeconomic lag times range from three to eighteen months as these changes work their way through the economy. And speaking of TV News, it's worth mentioning that a stagflationary economy would be just the opposite of the 'Trump Economy' touted by Fox News during the Fall 2024 campaign cycle. Eric Adams Support Seems Fueled by Narrow Self Interests

Is Eric Adams Recycling Faith Based Campaign Endorsements? About a week ago, Eric Adams announced that he was being endorsed by 100 faith based leaders. The endorsements appeared to come from some of the same people who've been supporting Adams all along, some of whom I've seen at various mayoral events, and some of whom I believe stood with him when he announced his re-election bid as an Independent in June of 2025.

Earlier this week Adams also picked up an endorsement from former NYS Democrat Governor Paterson, who is legally blind, and who switched his allegiance from Cuomo in the Democratic primary, to Adams running as an Independent.

A group of police unions also endorsed Adams this week, but notably missing was the largest NYC police union, the NYPBA. The NYPBA had previously endorsed Adams in the 2021 election, reportedly unenthusiastically. This may be why the NYPBA is holding back their endorsement again, or it could be that the NY Patrolmens Benevolent Association union is not happy that Adams has sullied the name of the NYPD, having been charged in a lawsuit with turning the NYPD into his own personal "racketeering enterprise".
