Jackson Heights Neighborhood / Midtown Manhattan Neighborhoods / Gotham Buzz. The Victor Moore Terminal is located at the intersection of 74th Street and Broadway in the Jackson Heights section of Queens NY.
The Victor Moore Terminal is the second busiest MTA transportation hub in New York City. It serves as the nexus for the #7, E, F, G, R and V subway lines, in addition to the 19B, 32, 33, 47 and 53 bus lines. From 1998 to 2005 the terminal underwent renovations. The city tried to develop the structure into a more human-friendly transportation center.
Public Transportation To / From LaGuardia Airport Via MTA
The #33 bus line goes to LaGuardia airport, thus enabling public transit users to get there without a cab. The terminal is located along Roosevelt Avenue at Broadway and 74th Streets.
This section of Jackson Heights is surrounded by a number of fine Asian and Latin American restaurants. Fine Indian, Nepalese and Bangladeshi cuisines are widely available. Along Roosevelt there are a number of Latin American restaurants, ranging from Mexican to Argentinian and Cuban. The terminal was named after Victor Moore who was a Broadway actor.
