We're getting 14 hours & 18 minutes of daylight or forty-eight minutes less of sunlight than we were getting the weekend of the Summer Solstice, on June 20, 2025. The Summer Solstice is the longest day of this year, providing 15 hours and 6 minutes of sunlight in NYC.

NYC Specific Weather - This can be very Different vs TV News Area Weather. No precipitation is in the forecast for the weekend or coming week. The temperature highs will be in the low 80's and the temperature lows in the high 60's. Winds will range from 5 - 10 mph all weekend. The humidity will range from 55% - 65% all weekend.

On Saturday the street fair runs along Jamaica Avenue from Parsons Blvd to 170th Street. Music, food, entertainment and street shopping. The biggest street fair in Queens with a lot of music and entertainment mixed in. JAMS stands for Jamaica Arts & Music Summer. On Thursday there's the lighting of the Giglio at 6 pm, followed by food, entertainment, music and rides. On Friday the festivities begin with a concert at 7 pm, on Saturday the Sant Antonio Procession begins at 12 noon, and on Sunday there's a noon mass, followed by the lifting of the Giglio at 2 pm.
