NYC Weekend Weather. The temperature highs will be in the mid 80's and the temperature lows in the low 70's. The humidity will be about 60% Friday, rising to 70% Saturday and peaking at 80% on Sunday, before falling back a bit on Monday. The winds will be about 5 mph all weekend. There's the possibility of a tenth inch of rain Friday.
The photo at right was taken at the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival in Tompkins Square Park in the East Village in a prior year. The festival returns to Washington Heights and the East Village this weekend.

June, July, August & September 2022 - Every Hour from 11 am - 4 pm Daily - Wings Over Water in 3D. This is a 22 minute long 3D movie about the migratory patterns of birds. The film follows a number of different species as they do their annual migrations through mountains, deserts, cities, and forests along hidden waterways left behind by the melted glaciers. Saturday & Sunday, August 27 & 28, 2022 from 11 am - 3 pm - The Battle of Brooklyn - Revolutionary War Commemoration - 500 West 25th Street at Greenwood Cemetery. There are three trolley tours scheduled on Saturday beginning at 10 am, 1 pm and 3.30 pm which cost $30 / $25. The Sunday events are free with a suggested donation of $5 for the cemetery. In the past the Sunday program includes an interactive program about life on the battlefield at 11 am, a parade at 12.30 pm, and a commemoration ceremony at 1.15 pm - THIS IS LIKELY THE 2022 EVENTS SCHEDULE BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED. The Bronx Zoo has an exhibit of 52 life-sized dinosaurs, some of which have animatronics in them. The Bronx Zoo is located at 2300 Southern Blvd in the Bronx.
