NYC Weather. The temperature highs will be in the high 50's and the temperature lows will be in the high 40's. It will be humid on Saturday, between 80% - 90%, and then descending to 60% - 75% on Sunday. It will also be windy, with winds blowing at about 15 mph throughout the weekend. There's a 25% chance of a small amount of rain Saturday, and a 75% chance of some rain, most likely between 11 am and 7 pm on Sunday.

Things To Do This Weekend in Manhattan NYC
The Fall for Dance Festival began on Wednesday, September 21 at the NY City Center at 131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. The program runs through Sunday, October 2, 2022. Performances begin at 8 pm each night, except this coming Sunday & Monday, September 25th & 26th. Tickets are $20 and performances last about an hour and a half. On Saturday & Sunday, October 1 & 2, 2022 from 10 am - 7 pm and until 5 pm on Sunday - American Craft Festival returns to Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. This is an unusual street fair, featuring the works of over 150 artists and craftspeople. It's a two day street fair on the Upper West Side.
Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10 am to 1.30 pm - Nigerian Independence Day Parade - Starts along 2nd Avenue at East 54th Street and marches south to 44th Street - Manhattan parades - see related Midtown street fair below.

On Sunday, October 2, 2022 beginning at 12.30 pm - The Pulaski Day Parade returns to Manhattan. The parade begins at 36th Street and marches up to 53rd Street.

Rescheduled to October 8, 2022 - On Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10 am - 5 pm The Fall for Arts Festival was to return to Roosevelt Island. In Southpoint Park at FDR Four Freedoms Park on the Rivercross Lawn on Roosevelt Island. A day full of activities for everyone including murals painting, arts & crafts, musical performances and food vendors. Free.
Rescheduled to October 8, 2022 _ Sunnyside _ Saturday, October 1, 2021 from 12 noon to 5 pm - Sunnyside Gardens Park Oktoberfest - At Sunnyside Gardens Park at 48-21 39th Avenue. On Saturday & Sunday, October 1 & 2, 2022 from 12 noon to 12 midnight and 10 pm respectively - Oktoberfest at the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden in Astoria. The Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden are located at 29-19 24th Avenue [at 31st Street]. They're going to have pig roast, live entertainment and food and drink specials. Free admission.
Durga Puja begins this weekend at various locations throughout NYC, but most notably in the Woodside, Jackson Heights, Jamaica and Richmond Hill neighborhoods in Queens. Durga Puja celebrates the goddess Durga, who is a motherhood figure representing the victory of good over evil. The celebrations, which cover a week of activity, are also something of a Hindu harvest festival. Friday & Saturday , September 30 - October 1 2022 from 4 pm - 8 pm and 11 am - 8 pm respectively - Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival. In the Plaza at 300 Ashland Place at the corner of Lafayette and Flatbush. This event will feature live music, dance, talks and theater. From Friday, September 30 - Sunday October 9, 2022 on the weekends [including Thursdays] only from 5 - 10 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, two seatings on Saturday from 12 noon - 4.45 pm and from 5.15 - 10 pm; and on Sunday from 12 noon - 8 pm - Zum Schneider Fest. This is a traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest which heretofore had been held in Manhattan along the East River at 23rd Street. Farm exploration & harvest sampling, cider & doughnuts, and a pop-up shop with Boogie Down Books. Also live music by Pete Nater & Associates. In the Urban Farm near Fields 62 - 63 in Randall's Island, just north of Ward's Meadow on the southeast tip of the island. Cider, cookies, doughnuts, dance class, pumpkin decorating, Latin dance class and live music. The Randall's Island Park Alliance is hosting a harvest celebration. Free.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 29 - October 2, 2022 beginning at 7.30 pm except Sunday when it's from 2 - 3 pm - Monster. At the Bartow Pell Mansion at 895 Shore Road in Pelham Bay Park. The play is an adaptation based on the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The play will take the audience through the Bartow Pell Mansion and include themes of humanism morality, science, death and horror.
