1st Annual Indigenous People's Parade, Taste of the Seaport, Diwali Times Square, Harvest Festival Carl Schurz Park & NY Film Festival ending at Lincoln Center Manhattan; Taste of Sunnyside in Queens; Oktoberfest in Brooklyn; Fall Festival in the Bronx; Lighthouse Festival on Staten Island; some outdoor Farmers Markets & Street Fairs still open

NYC Weather. The temperature highs will be in the mid 60's and the lows will be in the low 50's. No rain is in the forecast until Monday. Winds will range from 3 - 10 mph and humidity will range from about 50% to 65% - both all weekend.

Things To Do This Weekend in Manhattan NYC

Saturday, October 15, 2022 beginning at 12 noon to 3 pm - 1st Annual Indigenous People's Parade. The parade begins at 26th Street and South Broadway in Midtown and marches down to 17th Street where there will likely be some impromptu activity in Union Square Park.

Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1 - 9 pm - Diwali Times Square - A celebration of the Hindu festival of lights in Times Square.

Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 12 noon to 5 pm - Taste of the Seaport - At Piers 16 & 17 along the East River at the South Street Seaport. Entertainment, kids activities and about 40 food & beverage purveyors with proceeds going to arts and enrichment programs at two public elementary schools - PS 343 Peck Slip School & PS 397 Spruce Street School. Last year tickets cost $10 for 5 tastes at www.tasteoftheseaport.org.

The NY Film Festival continues at Lincoln Center and runs through Sunday, October 16th. See https://www.filmlinc.org for details and tickets.

Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1 - 3 pm - Harvest Festival at Carl Schurz Park on the Mayor's lawn at End End and East 88th Street. Live entertainment, scarecrow, pumpkin patch & pumpkin decorating. Free - details at www.carlschurzparknyc.org.

Next Week _ Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 11 am - 5 pm - Korean Festival - In Union Square Park at Park Avenue and 14th Street and Broadway and 17th Street - Manhattan street fairs. NYC.

Sunnyside _ Sunday, October 16, 2022 - Taste of Sunnyside Restaurant Crawl - from 2 - 7 pm. - Meet at Lowery Plaza underneath the #7 subway line at 40th Street and Queens Blvd in Sunnyside Queens. Things To Do This Weekend in Brooklyn NYC

Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 6.30 - 9.30 pm - Bay Ridge Catholic Oktoberfest. At Meletia Hall at St Anselm School at 365 83rd Street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The event includes light fare, beer, music and raffles. Tickets are $25 adults / $10 kids.

 

Things To Do This Weekend in the Bronx NYC

Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 12 noon to 4 pm - Fall Festival at St. James Park. This event is being hosted by Councilmember Sanchez. Games, crafts and sports. Free.

Next Week - Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11 am - 5 pm. Jerome Avenue / Gun Hill Fall Festival in the Bronx. Along Jerome Avenue from East Mosholu Parkway to East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx. This street fair in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx will have food, shopping, arts & crafts, music, games, pumpkins and pet adoption.

 

Things To Do This Weekend on Staten Island NYC

Rescheduled to October 16, 2022 _ St George _ Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 12 noon - 6 pm. Annual Point Lighthouse Festival - At 200 / The Promenade at Lighthouse Point in the St. George neighborhood. The festival includes live bands, local vendors of arts & crafts, food and programs for adults & kids. $3 suggested donation & $7 with chowder sampling.
