NYC Weather. The temperature highs will fall from the high 50's Friday to the mid 50's Saturday and into the low 50's on Sunday. The temperature lows will be around 40. The winds will fall from 10 - 15 mph on Friday, to 5 mph on Saturday and to 5 - 10 mph on Sunday. The humidity will rise from about 35% on Friday, to 50% on Saturday, and ranging from 40% to 60% on Sunday. No precipitation is in the forecast.

Manhattan Things To Do This Weekend NYC

On Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 10 am - 3 / 4 pm - Easter & Easter Bonnet Parade. The parade takes place along 5th Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets. It's more of a milling about in bonnets and Easter outfits, than it is a real parade. More like a themed costume party.
On Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 10 am - 3 / 4 pm - Easter at the South Street Seaport. This series of events are organized by the Seaport Business District in tandem with participating businesses. Registration begins at 10 am, but the Easter Egg Hunt & Crafts doesn't begin until 11 am in Seaport Square between Pier 16 & 17 - free with rsvp. The Ukrainian egg decorating workshops begin at 11 am for kids and at 5 pm for adults at Malibu Farm in Pier 17 at 89 South Street. From 11 am - 5 pm there's a flower hunt aboard the 1885 tall ship Wavertree. Free but must rsvp as there's limited space. There are also numerous restaurants serving brunch and dinner, a few of which offer East River waterfront views.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at various times at the NYU Skirball Center there's Phelim McDermott & Philip Glass: Tao of Glass which is a combination of music, dance and theatrical performance. The event is described as, " ... This New York Premiere marries ten new works from Glass with ten theatrical meditations on life, death, and Taoist wisdom. Performed by McDermott with a virtuosic ensemble of musicians and puppeteers, Tao of Glass is a storytelling tapestry, underscored by Glass’s mesmerizing music, and shot through with Improbable’s trademark magical stagecraft ...". Through Saturday, April 8th beginning at 7 pm [most nights], the Chain Theatre at 312 West 36th Street [3rd Floor] will be hosting live performances of THIS G*D DAMN HOUSE. The play is described as follows, " ... Jet lagged, without warning, Danny is summoned from NYC by his brother Jacob to Florida. Their mother has 24 hrs to vacate their childhood home. The problem is, their mother is a hoarder and the house is an indoor trash heap. Fresh, Fly and Fabulous is on exhibit at the Fashion Institute of Management at 227 West 27th Street in Chelsea from February 8th to April 23rd. The exhibit is dedicated to Hip Hop not just as music and fashion, but as a lifestyle and cultural statement. Hip Hop celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Brooklyn Things To Do This Weekend NYC
On Friday April 7, 2023, the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team hosts the Jersey Shore Blue Claws in their Home Opener beginning at 1 pm at Maimonides Park in Brooklyn. On Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm, there's an Opening Reception for Climate Change at Home at the King Manor Museum at 150-03 Jamaica Avenue in Queens. The exhibit is described as follows, " ... [the] exhibit [is] dedicated to understanding how every day objects affect our environment. Using QR code technology with a smart phone, visitors can scan codes next to several objects in our museum collection and discover just how much of an impact these objects have on climate change. It's organized by Nooks and Gems, which is a private company located in Brooklyn, but for which I could not easily find a website linked to the company.

On Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10 am - 2 pm, there's an Easter Egg Hunt in at the Bartow Pell Mansion at 895 Shore Road in Pelham Bay Park. Through April 23rd, the Orchid Show will be at the New York Botanical Garden. This year the installation was designed by Lily Kwong a landscape artist who explores Asian cultural themes.
