NYC Weather. The temperature highs will be in the low to mid 90's on Friday and Saturday, dropping into the low 80's on Sunday. The temperature lows will be about 80 on Friday, dropping into the low 70's on Saturday and Sunday. The winds will be about 5 - 10 mph all weekend, so a light breeze, which has been a godsend these past few weeks. The humidity will be fairly constant, running from 50% - 65% on Friday, 60% - 70% on Saturday and 55% - 65% % on Sunday, which is actually pretty fair. There's less than a 50% chance of a 1/3 inch of rain expected between 10 am Saturday morning until 5 am Sunday morning. So not a bad weekend?

The photo at right was taken at a Bronx Dominican Parade in a prior year. The parade returns this weekend, which is a couple of weeks prior to the Manhattan Dominican Parade in early August.

NOTE that the summer concert and theater pages have been updated to cover upcoming events for most of the rest of the summer. We'll be working on updating the summer movies pages this weekend.

NYC Weather. Temperature highs will range from the mid to high 80's and the temperature lows will range from the mid to high 70's. Winds will range from 5 - 10 mph all weekend, but on the higher side on Friday and Saturday and on the lower side on Sunday. It will remain humid all weekend, ranging from the mid 70's to the mid 80's. About / under an inch of rain is forecast this weekend, spread over all three days, with 1/3 inch on Friday and 1/3 inch on Sunday and 1/4 inch on Saturday. Friday night after 8 pm is when the probability rises above 50%, and Sunday from early morning [3 / 4 am] until about 3 pm is when the probability is above 50%. The probability of rain on Saturday doesn't go much above 25%, so that's likely the best day to get out and about, but it's warm and while a 1/3 of an inch isn't insignificant it's not huge either. And the worst parts of the weekend rain wise are Friday evening after 8 pm and Sunday morning running into early afternoon.

The photo at right was taken of marchers dressed as Incans at a Hispanic Day Parade in Jackson Heights. This weekend the Peruvian Parade returns to Jackson Heights.
