Weather. The temperature highs will be in the 70's and the temperature lows will be in the 60's all weekend. The humidity however will not be so constant, rising from 50% Friday to 70% on Saturday, to close to 90% on Sunday. Winds will be light at between 3 - 8 mph all weekend. There's a high probability of a half inch of rain on Sunday.

Wednesday, June 8 through Sunday, June 19, 2022 - The Tribeca Film Festival. There's an early / preview event at the United Palace at 4140 Broadway the weekend beginning June 4th in Washington Heights. There are a multitude of free and paid live events and films covering a variety of subjects including but not limited to LGBTQ, LatinX and Juneteenth to view at various venues around the city. Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm - Festival of India Parade & Sri Jagannath Ratha YatraFestival - Parade assembles at 45th St & 5th Avenue at 11 am - Parade begins at 12 noon and ends at West 8th Street at Washington Square Park in the Village where there's a festival from 12 noon to 7 pm.*

Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11 am - 5 pm - 34nd Annual 116th Street Festival - Along 3rd Avenue from 106th St to 122nd street in the El Barrio section of East Harlem. Food, shopping & three stages of entertainment at www.116thstfestival.com.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 beginning at 11 am - The Puerto Rican Day Parade returns. It will kick off at 5th Avenue at 43rd Street marching north to 79th Street on the UES. This is a huge parade celebrating Puerto Rican culture.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 11 am - 6 pm - Romania Day Festival - Along Broadway between Liberty and Battery Place. Celebration of over a century of Romanian unification and culture. In 2018 the fair included 30 stands of Romanian businesses, restaurants and artists out of a total of 300 stands. Entertainment, food & shopping. Tribeca street fairs nyc.

Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 6 - 9 pm - Museum Mile Festival - Along 5th Avenue from 79th Street to 106th Street on the Upper East Side. All of the museums along 5th Avenue on the Upper East Side UES are open to the public for free.* Be prepared to wear masks inside.

Thru Sunday, June 12, 2021. From 11 am - 9 pm daily. 43rd Annual Greek Festival at the cathedral at 64 Schermerhorn Street between Court Street and Boerum Place. The event has rides, entertainment, food and shopping. Organized by the St Constantine & Helen Cathedral at stconstantinecathedral.org. Brooklyn street fairs in Brooklyn Heights.

Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10 am - 6 pm _ Annual Brooklyn Pride Parade & Festival. Along 5th Avenue between Union & 9th streets. The festivities warm up begins with a run through Prospect Park beginning at 10 am [register at brooklynpride.org]. There's a Pride Festival that runs from 11 am - 5 pm with food, shopping and entertainment along 5th Avenue from Union to 9th Streets. From 7.30 - 10 pm there's a twilight Brooklyn Pride Parade that marches along 5th Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to 9th Street. Brooklyn street fairs in Park Slope.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 - parade begins at 5 pm / festival runs from 6 - 9 pm _ Annual Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival. The parade begins at 5 pm along 5th Avenue at 59th Street and marches up to 43rd Street, where the Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day festival begins at 6 pm in Sunset Park. There will be a couple of bands, including at least one salsa band as well as food for sale via trucks. St fairs in the Sunset Park neighborhood of BK.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 line up begins at 1 pm & parade begins at 3 pm - Bushwick Knickerbocker Puerto Rican Day Parade. Begins at Woodbine Street & Knickerbocker Avenue near the Bushwick Playground and marches east ending near Trinity Cemetery. The parade ends around 4 pm.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 12 noon - 3 pm . A Taste of the Neighborhood. At the Hendrick I. Lott House, 1940 East 36th Street in the Marine Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. Saturday, June 11, 2022 beginning at 11 am - Sunnyside Kiwanis Flag Day Parade - Along Greenpoint Avenue from 40th Street to Queens Blvd ending in Joe Sabba Park.

Saturday & Sunday, June 11 & 12, 2022 - Jackson Heights Historic House & Garden Tour - Exhibits from 10 am - 2 pm Saturday including a slide presentation from 10.45 - 12.15 pm [free]. For $10 you may obtain a map for self-guided tour visiting up to 15 sites from 12 noon - 4 pm. On Sunday there's an escorted tour beginning at 12 noon beginning at Community Church at 81-10 35th Avenue at 82nd Street. $10 for the tour.

Things To Do This Weekend in the Bronx

Wednesday - Sunday, June 8 - 12, 2022 from 6 pm to 11 pm - The Feast of St. Anthony. Times are Wed, Thurs and Friday from 5 - 9 pm / Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon - 7 pm. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating this Belmont neighborhood st fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. Historically there had been a procession on Sunday beginning at 5 pm, but this year [2022] I don't see any notice of that.x

At Mount Loretto at 6581 Hylan Blvd in the Charleston neighborhood of Staten Island [near Prince's Bay & Pleasant Plains]. Admission $5 and parking $5. Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 12 noon - 6 pm - UnCorked Wine Festival _ Historic Richmond Town hosts a big wine and food event. Tickets are $24 / $40 at www.historicrichmondtown.org. The proceeds go to support the historic site.

Thursday - Sunday, May 26 - June 12, 2022 there's an SI Mall Carnival at the Staten Island Mall at 2655 Richmond Avenue in the Heartland Village / New Springville neighborhoods of Staten Island. The carnival which includes rides, prize games and food is open weekdays from 5 to 10 pm, opening at 1 pm on Saturdays & Sundays and Memorial Day. Tickets are $5 for entry, and $35 per person for [I think unlimited] weekday rides and $85 for four persons. For details see www.statenislandmall.com
