About a quarter inch of rainfall is forecast between 11 pm Saturday and 7 am Sunday, so almost a perfect weekend, rain-wise. The temperature highs will rise from about 80 degrees on Friday and Saturday, to about 90 on Sunday. The temperature lows will rise from the mid 60's on Friday, to the mid 70's on Saturday, returning to the mid 60's on Sunday. The winds will be between 8 - 13 mph all weekend, following the temperature trend by rising, before falling again. Humidity will rise from 40% - 60% on Friday, to 75% - 85% on Saturday, returning to about 60% on Sunday.

Thursday, July 4th, 2024, the town of Travis hosts a 4th of July parade and celebration that harks back to a simpler time. The streets into the town close at 11.15 am. At 12 noon there's a ceremony at Independence Park at Victory Blvd and Glenn Street honoring some of the parade celebrities. The parade kicks off at 12.30 pm. There's an entertainment show place at 141 East Service Road. The parade route is triangular - West on Victory Boulevard to Glen Street; to Cannon Avenue; South on Victory Boulevard back to 141 East Service Road where the entertainment is. Bronx Little Italy / Belmont _ Wednesday - Sunday, June 5 - 9, 2024 from 5 pm to 9 pm weekdays & from 12 noon - 7 pm on Saturday & Sunday - The Feast of St. Anthony. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street at Arthur Avenue. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating the Feast of St. Anthony with a street fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue.
