Things To Do This Weekend in Queens

Festivities for the Chinese New Year Parade in Flushing begin at 9.30 am on Saturday, February 5th at St George's Church at 135-32 38th Avenue near Queens Crossing. At 10.30 am people will walk over to the parade site and the parade begins at 11 am. There have been some developments in Flushing, which filled out the old organizing site adjacent to Queens Crossing and no maps or parade route was published this year. But that said here's a link to the Flushing Chinese New Year parade route map from prior years which remained unchanged for at least a decade. We don't expect it to have changed. And remember, Tiger, it's the year of the tiger. Free.
