Weather. The temperature highs will be around 80 degrees and the lows about 70 degrees all weekend. It will be partly cloudy on Friday, with about a quarter inch of rain expected beginning late Friday night and departing by midday Saturday. The rest of the weekend will be clear. The humidity will fall throughout the weekend from 65% - 80% on Friday to 70% on Saturday to 50% - 65% on Sunday. There will be a nice breeze of 7 - 10 mph throughout the weekend.

Things To Do in Manhattan This Weekend
On Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 12 noon - 5 pm - Bastille Day returns to Manhattan along Madison Avenue from 59th Street to 63rd Street . It's organized by the French Institute Allianz Francais aka FIAF, a French cultural organization, so it's a somewhat unique street fair featuring all things French including champagne, wine and cheeses and other foods and objets d'arte. Also from 1.30 - 3 pm they're hosting a Champagne and Musette Party in the FIAF Skyroom at 22 60th Street. The party includes jazz, champagne, macarons and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are $65 - $75 which you may obtain at www.fiaf.org
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, July 6 - 9, 2022 generally beginning between 5 / 6 / 7.30 pm - Mostly Mozart in Harmony - a festival with an eclectic mix of music and performers. The programs contain a mix of music performed by classically trained musicians. Free summer outdoor concerts at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan NYC. Friday, July 8th, beginning at 7 pm there's a free Carnegie Hall Citywide concert by The Baylor Project in Bryant Park, which is located between 5th and 6th Avenues and between 40th and 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan, behind the New York Public Library.
Tuesdays - Sundays, June 21 - July 17, 2022 beginning at 8 pm - Richard III - By William Shakespeare / Adapted by Robert O'Hara. This adaptation of the Shakespearean classic about a power hungry King who will stop at nothing to obtain and keep power seems reminiscent of former President Donald Trump and his Chief Propagandist, Rupert Murdoch of Fox News, the WSJ and the NY Post. Free Shakespeare in the park at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in Manhattan NYC. See location instructions above.
Thursdays thru Sundays, June 30 - July 24, 2022 from 6.30 - 8.30 pm / Emma. On the north patio of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument which can be accessed at West 89th Street and Riverside Drive on the Upper West Side [see photo at right]. Take the steps behind the monument down to the large patio.

Things To Do in Queens This Weekend
On Sunday from 5 - 9 pm there's an Eid Festival in Astoria Park between 19th Street and Hoyt Avenue in Astoria. The event celebrates Egyptian culture and it's free.
On Saturdays from 5 pm - 12 midnight, the Queens International Night Market is at the NY Hall of Science in Flushing. It's primarily a food market, featuring many diffferent cuisines from around the world.
On Sunday, July 10, 2022 beginning at 6 pm, there's a free concert in Travers Park in Jackson Heights by Sonica.

Friday, July 8, 2022 - Doors 6.30 pm and the Show begins at 7.30 pm - BRIC Celebrate Brookly Concert Opener. The opening concert features rapper and activist Vic Mensa with aja monet. Vic Mensa is among the most socially conscious artists in hip hop - outspoken and engaged on issues ranging from gun violence to racial justice to mental health. He’s teaming up with his friend, the poet and musician aja monet, for a night celebrating the power of art to make sustainable change.
The Giglio Festival began on Thursday, July 7, 2022 and runs through Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 275 North 8th Street at Havemeyer Street in Williamsburg in Brooklyn. See www.olmcfeast.com for a schedule of daily events.
There's an Afro Jam Fest in Restoration Plaza on Saturday from 5 - 10 pm and it's free.
Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 7 - 9 pm - Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. Free rsvp registration is suggested at www.brooklynbridgepark.org. This is on the Harborview Lawn.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 8, 9 & 10, 2022 from 7 - 9 pm - Cymbeline - They describe their rendition of this play as: "... intrigue and drama in William Shakespeare’s 1611 romantic adventure Cymbeline, performed by seven energetic actors." Free summer outdoor theater / plays in the Brooklyn Common Park at the Metrotech Center at Myrtle Avenue and Bridge Street in the downtown Brooklyn neighborhood in NYC.
Things To Do in the Bronx This Weekend
Every weekend from 6 pm - 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 pm - 9 pm on Sundays - Piazza di Belmont - Outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue which will be closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue during the above mentioned times. Ends Sept 25, 2022.
Monday, July 11, 2022 from 1 - 3 pm - Abolitionist Celebration Day. A two hour celebration of the abolition of slavery with speeches and music in Joyce Kilmer Park.
Things To Do on Staten Island This Weekend
Fridays & Saturdays, July 8, 9, & 15, 16, 2022 from 8 - 11 pm - A Merchant of Venice. An adaptation / reinterpretation of Shakespeare's play by the Director. Admission $27 / $22 at www.sishakespeare.org. The Snug Harbor Cultural Center is located at 1000 Richmond Terrace in the Randall Manor neighobrhood of Staten Island. The Shakespearean play is held in the Tuscan Garden near the Heritage Farm & Children's Museum. The July 10th event is on the Porch of Cottage A.
