Weather. The temperature highs will be in the mid to high 90's and the lows between 80 - 85 degrees. The humidity will be relatively mild, ranging between the mid 40% to mid 50% range. Winds will provide a mild breeze ranging between 3 - 10 mph. No rain is expected over the weekend, and only a slight chance of some small amounts next week.
The photo at right was taken by / at the Wyckoff House Museum which is featuring Festival Minokan celebrating Haitian culture, including vodou. Vodou was an African / Caribbean ritual of communing / praying to one's ancestors. But then Hollywood got wind of it, and proceeded to blow it up / sensationalize it in order to generate ratings and ticket sales.
Vaccinations and / or Masks May be Required due to Uptick in CoVid New Infections, Hospitalizations & Death
Note. The new variant of CoVid has stimulated a significant uptick in CoVid infections. Many arts / entertainment venues require proof of vaccination with a matching valid ID, and some suggest or even may require the wearing of masks. Use the website links of each venue for their latest guidance, or just come prepared.
Congressional Hearings on the Trump Insurrection in Washington, D.C.
The Congressional Insurrection Hearings concluded their eighth televised event on Thursday evening. The hearings attracted an audience of 20 million for their first prime time hearing - which Fox TV boycotted - likely because the hearings shed light on the dishonest reporting by Rupert Murdoch's Fox 'News'.
Fox TV decided to broadcast the hearing last night, after continuing to boycott all - or nearly all - of the other televised Insurrection Hearings from their FCC licensed TV stations / network, despite Fox spokespeople's lies declaring the network would televise the hearings. They may have aired the hearings on their cable station, but I didn't check.
Omitting key facts - like not showing / broadcasting the Congressional Insurrection Hearings to Fox viewers - is one of the many techniques Murdoch and his mass media minions use to manipulate their viewers' perceptions of people, places and events. Nazi propagandist, Joseph Goebbels, also used this technique [omitting key facts] to mislead the German people, in order to reap personal gains.
A free people must act like adults, and listen to all of the facts, not just those facts they want to hear. Ignoring key facts - by it's very definition - is ignorance. Thomas Jefferson said, "Those who believe one can remain ignorant and free, believe in something that never was and never will be."

But you're advised to check that the bar is showing the game, as the TV / video rights can be a complicated maze, when it comes to figuring out what services will carry the games.
Coming next week, on Wednesday / Thursday the Feast of St Irene Chrysovalantou Church, on Friday the weekend Pow Wow at the Queens County Farm begins and on Saturday the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival begins.
