Stagflation May be Headed our Way

It Looks Like We May be Heading for a Stagflation Economy. According to 8.15.25 Yahoo Finance report, wholesale prices rose faster than expectations, up 0.9% in July, far faster than expectations. The core rate grew 3.7% vs an expected 3%. The Fed target rate is 2%. Services, not goods, were the driving force behind the inflation increase, and services are not tied to tariffs. We might be heading into a stagflation economy, where inflation continues or picks up, while jobs growth slows, as happened this month.

The contributors to a staglationary economy include that the U.S. dollar has lost 10% of its value since the beginning of the year. This means everything purchased outside of the U.S. will essentially cost 10% more to Americans. And tariffs will eventually add further to the inflation problem by increasing the cost of goods further.

TV News doesn't seem to understand that there's a lag time between when changes in the economy occur [like tariffs or currency valuation changes], and when the impact of them shows up at the cash register. Macroeconomic lag times range from three to eighteen months as these changes work their way through the economy. And speaking of TV News, it's worth mentioning that a stagflationary economy would be just the opposite of the 'Trump Economy' touted by Fox News during the Fall 2024 campaign cycle. Eric Adams Support Seems Fueled by Narrow Self Interests

Is Eric Adams Recycling Faith Based Campaign Endorsements? About a week ago, Eric Adams announced that he was being endorsed by 100 faith based leaders. The endorsements appeared to come from some of the same people who've been supporting Adams all along, some of whom I've seen at various mayoral events, and some of whom I believe stood with him when he announced his re-election bid as an Independent in June of 2025.

Earlier this week Adams also picked up an endorsement from former NYS Democrat Governor Paterson, who is legally blind, and who switched his allegiance from Cuomo in the Democratic primary, to Adams running as an Independent.

A group of police unions also endorsed Adams this week, but notably missing was the largest NYC police union, the NYPBA. The NYPBA had previously endorsed Adams in the 2021 election, reportedly unenthusiastically. This may be why the NYPBA is holding back their endorsement again, or it could be that the NY Patrolmens Benevolent Association union is not happy that Adams has sullied the name of the NYPD, having been charged in a lawsuit with turning the NYPD into his own personal "racketeering enterprise".

Once again, the Murdoch Ministry of Mass Manipulation is providing their audiences with distorted reports about what's happening in the Middle East, to pressure another American president [in this case Trump] into taking America into another war in the Middle East again. At least twice before, the Murdoch Ministry of propaganda convinced enough of the Fox News fools - by which I mean people who don't augment what 'news' they obtain from the Murdoch Ministry of Mass Manipulation with non-Murdoch news sources. Murdoch controls Fox News, the NY Post, the Wall St. Journal, the London Times, the Sun [also U.K.] and the Australian. All Murdoch controlled entities appear to report stories about people and issues pretty much the same way - which is to report them in whatever way Rupert Murdoch orders.

Murdoch Mass Media Beat the War Drums for both Iraq & Afghanistan using False & Distorted Narratives

Murdoch famously uses the same old tired rhetoric, that this will be a 'just' war and it's really a war on terror, even though it is not. It's really a war for higher ratings and more newspaper sales.

Note that the Lachlan Murdoch visit to Netanyahu in Israel was in January 2024.

These above mentioned narratives are the same as those used by Murdoch mass media to get us to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. In Iraq it was 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' that were never found [remember that?], in Afghanistan it was more of the same fear mongering about terrorism. Now it's Iranian Nukes that - that like the WMD - don't currently exist. Notice that ONLY Fox News polls show Americans favoring going to war with Iran, when nobody else's polls do. Not even the Times of Israel. Now that's a coincidence, isn't it?

How the One Responsible for Israeli Security on October 7th, 2023, Appears to also be the One who Benefitted the Most from its Failure

Israeli Security Failure on October 7, 2023 & the German Reichstag Fire of 1933.

Nobody benefitted more from the Israel Defense Force failure on October 7, 2023 than Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli protesters who opposed his fascist government policies were silenced. The Netanyahu corruption proceedings in the Israeli courts seemed to go on hiatus. Over 108 journalists, which includes 2 Israeli and 3 Lebaneses journalists, were killed as of June 22, 2024 according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. The terror attack gave Netanyahu a pretext to create a 'unity government' out of one that was very divided. It gave Netanyahu a pretext to temporarily 'reconcile' with the U.S. over policy differences. It gave Netanyahu not only an excuse to continue his fascist / almost Nazi-like policies of ethnic cleansing the Palestinians out of their land, but something of a license to expand and accelerate it. And it allowed Netanyahu to continue to bilk American taxpayers to fund and weaponize his ethnic cleansing and mass murder of Palestinians.

Who was in control of the Israeli Defense Forces when the huge, inexcusable, security failure occurred on October 7, 2023? None other than Benjamin Netanyahu. This is akin to the German Reichstag Fire in 1933, which enabled Hitler to seize more power. Like Adolph, Benjamin promised an investigation, and likely what we'll eventually see is a report on it, just like the report on the Reichstag Fire in 1933 - assuming Netanyahu remains in power. At right is a chart showing U.S. military aid to Israel from 1951 to 2023. In total U.S. taxpayers have given Israel the equivalent of over a quarter Trillion dollars in aid and munitions in today's dollars. You can see that aid spiked in the 1980's, when Israel helped the rogue members of the Reagan Administration break the U.S. arms embargo of Iran, by secretly and illegally trading U.S. weapons to the Iranians, in exchange for funds. The rogue members of the Reagan Administration then reportedly sent those funds to the Nicaraguan Contras, again in violation of U.S. laws. The most recent spike, shown at far right, came following the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack.

Wikipedia [NYT 12/8/1991] reported the following regarding the Iran Contra scandal during which Israel participated in breaking U.S. laws with rogue members of the Reagan Administration, "... investigations established that "Soon after taking office in 1981, the Reagan Administration secretly and abruptly changed United States policy." Secret Israeli arms sales and shipments to Iran began in that year, even as, in public, "the Reagan Administration" presented a different face, and "aggressively promoted a public campaign [...] to stop worldwide transfers of military goods to Iran". The New York Times explains: "Iran at that time was in dire need of arms and spare parts for its American-made arsenal to defend itself against Iraq, which had attacked it in September 1980", while "Israel [a US ally] was interested in keeping the war between Iran and Iraq going to ensure that these two potential enemies remained preoccupied with each other". Major General Avraham Tamir, a high-ranking Israeli Defense Ministry official in 1981, said there was an "oral agreement" to allow the sale of "spare parts" to Iran.  ... A former "high-level" Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) official who saw reports of arms sales to Iran by Israel in the early 1980s estimated that the total was about $2 billion a year—but also said, "The degree to which it was sanctioned I don't know."... ".

Netanyahu's Israeli Military Forces are Killing Civilians in Gaza, at a Rate that is at Least Six Times Faster than Putin's Russian Military is Killing Civilians in Ukraine

Will Netanyahu's Murderous Rampage - Killing Civilians at a Pace that's 6x Faster than Putin's in Ukraine - Compensate for his Security Failure?

According to Wikipedia, as of 5/21/24 [in about 8 months] Netanyahu's Israeli military has reportedly killed more than 35,600 Palestinians, while Hamas has killed about 1,500 Israelis, including those killed in the Hamas attack on October 7th, 2023.

An estimated 52% of the Palestinians killed [18,512] were women and children. As a point of reference, also according to Wikipedia, as of 5/31/24 [in about 27 months], 11,100 civilians were killed by Putin's Russian military since the invasion of Ukraine began on February 22, 2022. So Netanyahu's regime has managed to kill over twice as many civilians in Gaza, in about a third the time, as Putin's Russians have killed civilians in Ukraine. I'm assuming that at least 3,688 of the [48%] 17,088 male Palestinian civilians killed, were non-combatants.
